Jane Ellis is a visual artist and printmaker from Dublin and a member of The Black Church Print Studio and The Leinster Printmaking Studio. Jane graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from IADT Dun Laoghaire Co Dublin in 2021. She was the recipient of an Arts Council Agility Award in 2022 and has exhibited widely in a number of group shows.

Jane’s work is influenced by the natural cycles of the earth, in particular how the animal and plant life alter through these cyclical transitions.

‘’I work with wood block printing, linocut and ‘’Mokuhanga.’’ I attempt to bring energy and fluidity to my works by using contrasting areas of relief print with other media.’’
