I love this area I live in and my subjects reflect this in one way or another.
Long horizons and elusive skies draw my attention and I throw in the occasional boat or figures to break the line , or to imply an element of story. I can also be distracted by architecture , and especially if there is an unusual juxtaposition of styles or locations – another story form I suppose. And I am still chasing that gloriously numinous puddle of paint.
I participate in a number of annual shows locally, am an irregular regular at the People’s Art , Stephen’s Green, and further images of my work can be found on my Facebook page – Tom Molloy Art, or on newirishart.com.
