Human hEAD AND FACE
ArtNetdlr presents “Human Head and Face”, a group exhibition featuring over one hundred art works by Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown artists, ArtNetdlr members, all of them captivated with an idea and a vision of human head and face that tells the story. The theme and the artwork for this exhibition were selected by Charles Harper RHA, well known for his own series of paintings of heads and faces.
The exhibition is special as it presents a unique opportunity to encounter some well recognised faces, portraits of our friends and strangers, self-portraits, paintings, photographs, and three dimensional pieces. This exhibition invites viewers to look closer — a fleeting insight into the artist’s face and imagination, emotion, and lived experience shared while experimenting with expressions, light and different techniques. It offers visitors a window into the creativity and diversity of talent that thrives within the local visual arts scene in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County.
