Painter, illustrator and designer producing both figurative and semi-abstract works.

I have a particular obsession with Dalkey Quarry and Killiney Hill. Having grown up in the area, I have been going there since I was a child. The place never loses its magic and never ceases to inspire me.

I find that my design background in both dress and interior design, positively informs my painting. I like to use a wide range of media within my work exploring oils, acrylic, raw pigment, plaster and collage.

Whilst my paintings have always been illustrative in style, and stylization comes naturally, it is only in the last five years that I have actually done illustration per se, illustrating an e-book and doing some product design for advertising. My illustrations have been short listed in international competitions. I have also illustrated two animated works “Close To The Wind” 2016 and “Nuts” 2019, both in collaboration with musicians. My work has been shown internationally in Venice, Rome, Florida and New York.

I have been a member of ArtNetdlr since 2015 and have exhibited with them in addition to being on the organizing committee for the most recent collaborative exhibition “Hinterland”.
