Drawing together on National Drawing Day 2025, with ArtNetdlr and Darina Meagher
Every year, the National Gallery of Ireland—together with dozens of museums, galleries, libraries and cultural organisations all over the island of Ireland—encourages people to get drawing on National Drawing Day.
This year ArtNetdlr invites you to Walters, Dun Laoghaire, to take part in free drawing event, draw for fun and pleasure, discover and develop your own unique style, just like handwriting.
Artist Darina Meagher facilitated very popular drawing sessions on Zoom for ArtNetdlr during Covid lock-downs, and that became an enriching part of practice for many artists, ArtNetdlr Members. The session will run for two hours, but feel free to drop by, even for a a quick drawing. All disciplines welcome. Materials will be available.
Darina is currently Artist in Residence at the National Maternity Hospital, Dublin.
