Join Fidelma O’Neill for all – day experience, the master class for artists in working with cold wax medium & oils. Learn to use cold wax painting to add luminosity, texture and depth to your work.
This workshop is for artists who want to learn a new technique in painting, explore cold wax medium and oils, and deepen the knowledge in creating texture and layers in this medium. The technique enables to experiment, build up new depths & vibrant surface, add and mix colour. It’s a playful way of working more intuitively and abstract, focusing on technical mastery and individual expression.
Fidelma has exhibited widely in Ireland and internationally including group shows EV+A, RHA Summer Show, The Ballinglen Arts Foundation, A.I.R. Gallery New York and solo show Rocca Fiore in Todi, Umbria, Italy.

The cost is €150 for all day workshop, partially subsidized by ArtNetdlr, most materials and equipment will be included.
ArtNetdlr will be providing the majority of materials necessary for this workshop.

Greaseproof paper, Tissue paper Wax
Odourless spirit
Pigments
Pan Pastels
Oil Sticks
Gloves
Tissue Paper , Greaseproof Paper and Newsprint
Participants are required to bring the following:
Palette Knives
A Scissors
Disposable Palettes for Paint
Oil Paper or gessoed boards to work on
Mask to wear (optional)
Blade to cut stencil (If you wish to cut stencils)
Oil Paints
Transparent colour and Opaque Complimentary colours
