Éadaoin Glynn Bio

Éadaoin Glynn is a painter who studied literature. She explores ideas of intimacy, memory and hidden
female narratives in her work. Her work shifts between abstraction and figurative and she paints primarily
with acrylics, using a wide range of processes and techniques, including found objects, text and collage.

Solo exhibitions include ‘Girl Unknown’ the Limerick Museum; ‘Translucence’, Upstairs@Walters, ArtNetDlr,
Dublin and an up-coming three-person exhibition, ‘Transitus’, the Long Gallery, Backwater Artists, Cork with
Oonagh Hurley and Mary Bowen Galvin. Group shows include the London Art Biennale, London; ‘The Art of
the Word’, Sasse Museum of Art, L.A.; ‘All Along The River’, The People’s Museum, Limerick; ‘Show What We
Can Do’, Artlink, Donegal; ‘Connect’, ArtNetDlr, Dublin; ‘Preamble’, Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre; ‘Does Art
Enrich Life?’, The Narrow Space, Clonmel; ‘Hand of Man’, Backwater Artists Studios, Cork; ‘New Yin Art’, Crane
Visual, Cork; ‘OXO’, the Outset Gallery, Galway and ‘Summer of Love’, the Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon.

In 2023, Éadaoin founded The Warrior Artist Podcast as a resource for Irish visual artists. Based in Cork, she
is a member of Backwater Artists Network, Sample Studios, ArtNetDlr and Visual Artists Ireland. Her work is
in private collections nationally and internationally.
