I am a a visual artist living and working in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Ireland. I create images using paint and mixed media. My works are built in layers so that images emerge using minimal recourse to reference materials. Using a process of engagement with memory this is a time based exercise and is a deliberate attempt to test the power of recollection. The works themselves dictate the pace and are essentially an assemblage of fragments, which together form an impression of place and time.
In 2015 I graduated with a Masters, Art in the Contemporary World from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. I also studied Law at University College Dublin and qualified as a solicitor. I was awarded two residencies, one under the states NAPD scheme for disadvantaged schools and another in Mount Anville Seconday School Dublin.
